Uchronic SA -
Privacy Policy

Dear visitor,

This privacy policy describes the impact of data usage on the website accessible at https://uscope.ch, and not on its subdomains, which, hosting tools with different purposes, have their own terms of use.

In general, the protection of your data is of paramount importance at Uchronic, which is why we make every effort to minimise its collection and anonymise it whenever possible.

The processing of your personal data is subject to the applicable data protection legislation in force in Switzerland, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection of 25 September 2020, which came into force on 1 September 2023 (FADP), as well as in Europe with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 27 April 2016.

1. Local storage

This website does not use cookies. Only your browser's local storage mechanism (localStorage) is used to save two display preferences: dark mode and navigation language. This data remains exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or to third parties. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

2. Traffic analysis

We use Matomo, a free and open-source web analytics software, hosted on servers in Switzerland and directly managed by us. Matomo is configured to respect your privacy: IP addresses are anonymised and no data is transmitted to third-party companies. Matomo respects your browser's "Do Not Track" signal. If it is enabled, no browsing data will be collected.

3. Contact forms

When sending a message through the forms provided, your information (name, email address, message content) is transmitted directly by email to our team. No form data is stored in a database. To ensure quality service, the information shared may be recorded in our internal customer tracking and prospecting tool.

4. Protection and confidentiality

We do not exchange or transfer your information to third parties.

5. Consent

By using our website and providing us with your information, you consent to our privacy policy.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the FADP and the GDPR, you have the right to access, modify, or request the deletion of your data. If you have any questions about this or other concerns, please contact us.

7. Updates

This privacy policy may evolve. We invite you to consult this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.

We thank you for your trust and hope that your browsing experience on the Uscope presentation website will be both informative and enjoyable. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
